Today is a new day and a new start. Today I commit myself to no more meltdowns. That is a very toxic habit. Everyone is subject to them and they all look different, but they all have the same affect on others. The results vary from guilt to sadness to anger and eventually to fear. The fear may arrive first or it may arrive later, but it always shows up to seal the deal.
That is the way God shows us that it is not His will. That is the way that we know to resist and to be sure we are following in His footsteps.
The NT Community (NTC) is not exempt, but they do exhibit different behaviors. They are more prone to verbal stims (repeating movements) such as cursing and blaming and re-examining the events, whereas we are trying to move past them and regain self-control.
It is always our desire to get to that place and the NTC must understand that.
